The Pregnancy

Mom's Going to Madagascar

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! That’s a baby in there! A BABY! That little bubble there, that’s a baby, ya’ll! Baby! Ahhh!
baby

Okay, enough squealing. I’ll pause my extreme excitement long enough to get some thoughts written out to you.
Pregnancy is fun, ya’ll. It’s hard and exhausting and a little bit gross sometimes–whoever named is morning sickness probably didn’t understand the definition of the word “morning”–but oh so much fun. I’m having a blast thinking about names and planning room themes. A thousand questions are running through my mind every time I pause to think about it all! So much to think about and decide!

Psalm 127
1 Unless the Lord builds the house,

3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,

Kids aren’t expensive. Greed is.

Kids don’t “need” designer clothes, Etsy outfits, brand new everything, more shoes than they can wear before they grow out of…

Joy – Fruit of the Spirit

Mom's Going to Madagascar

Hello friends! Welcome back to Weekly Challenge! We’re talking about Fruits of the Spirit right now and today’s topic is joy. I can’t help but sing “I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain in my sooOOooul in my soooooooooul” It’s a shame you can’t hear me singing through the text. I’m really fantastic. Truly. Joy is one of my favorite things to talk about because I remember when I finally realized the difference between joy and happiness. Joy flows from within and can only come from Jesus. It doesn’t ebb and flow with the changing seasons of life. It is steady. Like a fountain. Happiness on the other hand impacts you from the outside, like wind. It can blow so hard you’re knocked over flat on the ground giggling and the next moment be so still you’re not sure it ever existed. Happiness…
